HOW TO PREVENT CEREBRAL PALSY

Cerebral Palsy (or CP) is a condition related to unexplainable brain damage. It renders the body’s motor and muscle functions impaired. In simple words, it disorients the coordination of the body and makes it hard for the person to control their parts and move in a normal mannerism. The condition affects all the motor skills functions like bowel movements, eating, talking, and simple movements like walking.   • Mothers should always get vaccinated before trying to get pregnant.
  • The most common and effective prevention is to eat healthily and to adopt a good lifestyle during pregnancy.
  • Regular doctor appointments are important. Strictly follow any advice given by them.
  • If you have uncurable passive health issues, inform the doctor. They will offer proper guidance to maintain the health of the mother and child.
  • Quitting habits of alcohol, cigarettes, or any drugs that can affect the health of your child.

The modern medical innovations and resources have made childbirth easier. There are several methods and procedures available. As a parent, one should acquire information to be aware of what to expect during birth. Usually, the doctors are meticulous in their procedures, but if you suspect a potential health risk, consult with the doctors. It is important to stay alert and take initiative whenever it is required, it will aid in rectifying any complication. Here are some measures to help you:
